I have been married for a little over a year and a half now. I met my husband in January of 2005. We were together over a month before he told me he was positive, and he only told me because he was angry with me.

I dont know much about HIV and I didn't want to believe him. I love him very much, but we are having marrital problems and he is looking for other women to be with. I want him to find someone if that is what he wants but I dont want him to give HIV to anyone else.
He doesnt tell people he has HIV and he doesnt wear protection. I want the laws to be strictor so that people would have to tell the person, or at least use protection if they were going to have sex.

Now I have HIV and I am doing well with medication. I dont want anyone to have to go through what I am going through, but I can't protect the world from my husband I guess.

That is my story in a nutshell. I hope it helps someone out there. Just don't count on the person to use protection if he/she has HIV. I guess you need to be the one to make the person use protection or use it yourself.
