The Africa
Advocacy Foundation
The helpline
provides support for anyone of African origin living in the UK
who is either HIV positive or of unknown status. Advocacy and
Information are also offered on Prevention, Treatment, Care, Immigration,
Benefits and general welfare.
Blackliners
The helpline
exists primarily to give information to anyone affected or infected
by AIDS or HIV. Calls are welcomed from sufferers, their relatives
or friends, and concerned Health Professionals.
Health Initiatives
for Youth
Aimed at HIV/Positive
people under 27, this helpline offers support and general information.
Your call will be answered by a young, trained, HIV positive person.
Muslim HIV/AIDS
support Service
The line is
aimed primarily at members of the Muslim community, but others
will not be turned away. Support and Information are provided
both for sufferers themselves, their friends and families.

Positive
The line is
for the use of anyone in the community who has been affected or
infected by HIV. Advice and (non-medical) information is offered.

Hertfordshire
Herts Aid
Aimed at those
living in or around Hertfordshire, this line provides support
and information for anyone infected or affected by HIV. Your call
will be answered by a trained volunteer. Further therapies, counseling,
and welfare advice can be arranged.
North-East

The Bridge Project
All staff are
either qualified counselors or social workers. The line is aimed
at drug users, their families and carers, and provides counseling
and information. Face-to-face counseling can be arranged if desired.
